Madeline Grimes Final Project Process Part 1

So far, I have spent about eleven hours working on my project. There has been a series of complications. First, I accidentally put the holes for the pocket screw on the wrong side of one of my pieces of 1X4, however we were able to fill them. Then, I have been having some trouble getting everything lined up because my wood is bowed. When I attempted to attach the doors, I was not able to get them flush with the edge. This is something that I will try to fix when I go into the studio tomorrow. I also had to change my original plan for the legs. The first set were essentially impossible to make identical to one another, so we made a new pair using a hole saw to make the curves. This worked out much better.
I began by using a miter saw to cross cut the pieces for my project:

I used pocket screws to attach the back, bottom, top, and sides of the cabinet:

Here is the finished frame for the cabinet, and the pieces for the doors that I ripped with a table saw:
These were the original pieces for the legs, cut from 1X4, before they were glued together:

This is one of the new legs. Made from 2X8 and cut with a hole saw:

Door frames, constructed from 1X4 ripped in half, and the metal grate that will be used for the back:

Here is the door with the metal grate stapled onto the back, I used 1/2" staples:
