I have decided on a short bedside nightstand as my final project with 2-3 storage spaces within the nightstand. I’m not willing to spend more than $50 on this project.
The materials required for this project are:
- (1) 1″ x 18″ x 6′ Board (optional replacement 2x4X12’)→ $19.95, or $3.97
- (4) 4 inch Tapered Legs → $1.51/each at home depot ($6.04)
- (4) Table Leg Straight Top Plate → $1.98/each @ HD ($7.92)
- ¼ inch plywood - “Tri-Ply” @ Home Depot ¼” X 4” X 4” → ($8.97)
- Round Felt Pad – optional → $6.35
I remain mystified about the 1"x18" board you reference.
ReplyDeleteLooking at the pic of the night stand, it look like it could be made entirely from 1x. I like the way the top is made. Maybe some 1/4" ply for the drawer bottoms and a the back. Continue to develpoe the idea.
