I am planning on building it out of 3/4" plywood (darker) and 1x4 (lighter). The small crosses (they look more like dots, in this shot) represent where eye screws will go.

I'm sure there are other things I will need, but I am hoping to keep this project under $150.00.
I like this project. You may be able to get by w/ one piece of ply by reconsidering the back. Does the back need to be solid? The 1x "arms" look like a weak point.
