Because my dogs are getting older it is hard for them to get onto furniture and hang out with their best friend, me of course. In order to make it easier for them to get on and off the couch, I am going to build a three-step unit that they can use to get on and off.
In order to build this I will need:
2"x6"x10' piece of wood; Priced at $8.37
2 Sanded Oine Sheets of Plywood; Priced at $14.48 (x2 = $28.96)
Total cost of project = $37.33
This could be built w/o plywood. (that isn't the cost of a 4x8 sheet is it?). IT could be mostly made from 1x. The 2x6 is a bit burly.
ReplyDeleteI think you should include the storage cubbie. Does the tread lift off? I think there is a hinge that could work. Consider the quality od wood you want to use.
