My final project will be a triangle/ladder type shelving unit. My design would be shorter than in the photo, probably 3 1/2 to 4 feet tall. The legs will be made with 1x3 poplar and I will buy half sheets of 3/4 inch plywood to cut down for the shelves. If I can't get the plywood, I can get more 1x3s and edge glue them together.
I could buy four 1''x3''x8' poplar boards for $48, and a half sheet of plywood for between $20 and $30. This would make my total around $80, and I wanted to stay under $100.
